The tamariki from Rm 27 have been having fun learning to swim.
We have learnt to blow bubbles, float on our backs and kick with straight legs. Our teachers have given us so much more confidence to be safely in the water.
We love swimming.!

Tuesday was our first day of school for 2023. Some new friends joined our classroom. On our first day we did some learning and had lots of fun. School is cool!

Room 27 is the reception classroom for Pt England School. It is the place were we welcome our new learners and help them to feel belonging in our school. We have a wonderful space which allows us to introduce our akonga to the ways of school life. We have a kaupapa which mixes play and formal structured learning to give our learners opportunities to build their knowledge and develop skills in creative and engaging ways.
We hope that you visit this blog often to see what and how our tamariki have been learning.

In Room 13 we have been thinking about our feelings. Have you ever noticed that some times emotions have colours? We made a Manaiakalani Film Festival movie to show how friends can help us to be happy and make the world beautiful just like a rainbow.
